Apple iPhone 3G 16GB LCD Assembly Repair Service

Your Apple iPhone 3G 16GB display assembly consists of two main parts. The Touchscreen panel and the LCD itself. The Touchscreen is the top layer of Mylar and glass that provides the pen interface to the Pocket PC. The LCD is the component that generates the image that you interact with.

This is a damaged LCD with a undamaged Touchscreen. If your screen looks like this, the entire LCD assembly must be replaced and this is the repair you need.

This is a shattered Touchscreen. It is repairable by replacing the Touchscreen only. However, there may be some damage to the top of the LCD that is not repairable.  If your Touchscreen looks like this and the LCD still displays ok, then the Touchscreen repair is what you need.
