Your Blackberry Pearl 8120's display assembly consists of two main parts. The outer clear plastic of the top cover and the LCD itself. The LCD is the component that generates the image that you interact with.
This is a damaged LCD. If your screen looks similar to this, the entire LCD assembly must be replaced and this is the repair you need.
