This is an initial diagnostic assessment for a repair. Please describe the problem you are experiencing in the special instructions field. After ordering this diagnostics service, you will need to ship your i-mate JASJAM in to us.

If you are sending your i-mate JASJAM in for warranty repair, please include a copy of your purchase receipt. Without the purchase receipt, your unit will be placed in discrepancy and NOT processed for repair.

Please note: Broken Touchscreens, LCDs or Sync Connectors are not i-mate IN-WARRANTY Repairs.

NOTE: If your i-mate JASJAM is found to be in-warranty, the diagnostic fee and return Fedex Ground shipping fee will be waived. If you choose expedited shipping, we will charge the additional amount over Fedex Ground fees.

You may also order this service in place of a repair that is not specified on our site, such as an audio-jack repair. The $60 fee includes labor charges, but there may be an additional parts cost.

IMPORTANT: This is a full-service repair which does require you to send your i-mate JASJAM in to us. If you decide not to repair your out-of-warranty i-mate JASJAM, or our technicians determine that your device is irreparable, a $35 labor fee plus the cost of return shipping will be charged.

Welcome i-mate customers to PPC Techs, Inc! Your i-mate Authorized Service Center for Canada and the United States.

Please help us serve you better. Please ensure you have registered your i-mate handset on www.imate.com. Once you have registered your handset or if you already have an account, please contact i-mate's online customer care representative first to discuss any problems you are having with your i-mate handset.

In the event your customer care representative cannot resolve your problem, you will be issued an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number along with instructions for shipping your handset to PPCTechs.com.

IN-WARRANTY SERVICE:
For In-Warranty Service, please start the process by ordering the Diagnostic Service. If your unit is found to be in-warranty, the diagnostic fee and return Fedex Ground shipping fee will be waived. If you choose expedited shipping, you will be charged the additional amount over Fedex Ground fees.

No charges are applied to your credit card until your unit is received and a determination is made as to its warranty status.

Within 24 business hours of receipt of your order, we will email you shipping instructions on how to pack and ship your unit in for repair. Please include a copy of your purchase receipt and a detailed problem description inside the box.

If there is physical damage to the unit, it will be considered an Out-Of-Warranty Service. Please review our Repair - Out-Of-Warranty Service section and see if we have the exact repair you need. If not, please order the Diagnostics Service.
